2026 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Final Four Set
The 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship quarterfinals are done, and the Final Four is set. Four programs that Boulder County high school players and CU men's club players follow closely all spring came through the weekend. Here's how the bracket shook out.
Saturday, May 16
No. 2 Notre Dame 15, Johns Hopkins 9
Notre Dame and Johns Hopkins stayed close into halftime before the Irish pulled away in the second half to win 15-9 and book a return trip to Championship Weekend.
No. 6 Syracuse 13, No. 3 North Carolina 11
Syracuse knocked off the third-seeded Tar Heels 13-11 in an upset. North Carolina had been one of the tournament favorites coming in. The Orange advance to the national semifinals.
Sunday, May 17
No. 1 Princeton advances past Penn State
Top-seeded Princeton beat eighth-seeded Penn State to reach the Final Four, holding off the upset bid that the Nittany Lions had threatened all weekend. The Tigers, the tournament's overall No. 1 seed, kept their title hopes alive. For the exact final score and box, see the official bracket.
Duke advances past No. 4 Richmond
Duke knocked off fourth-seeded Richmond to punch its Championship Weekend ticket, rounding out the four-team field.
Final Four
The four teams headed to Championship Weekend:
- Princeton (No. 1 seed)
- Duke
- Notre Dame (No. 2 seed)
- Syracuse (No. 6 seed)
